WHO YA GONNA CALL? STUMP BUSTER!

I'm Louie Bunker, owner and operator of Stump Buster. I began a stump removal business named Bunker Stump Grinding in 1987 and changed its name to Stump Buster in 1993. Because I am the owner and operator, you have the assurance of dealing with someone you can trust--my reputation and long-term commitment to our local communities depend on it.

I grind the stumps four to eight inches below the ground's surface to allow the root system to decompose. Once the stump is ground, you will have a mound of wood chips to use as mulch in your planting gardens or around trees and bushes. I would not suggest using walnut chips as mulch around bedding, plants, trees, and shrubs, because they are highly acidic and could damage your plants. If you want grass to grow in the old stump location, you will want to remove the mulch and fill with black dirt to the ground level.

Stump grinding provides a quick, aesthetically-pleasing result to your property. In removing the stump, it's one less obstacle that the home owner has to mow and trim around. By grinding the stump, your property is also safer because potential damage to expensive mowing equipment and other liabilities are eliminated.

In the old days, an ax, shovel, and chain saw, or a strong truck bumper and chain were the best rememdies for removing stumps. Today, I would suggest calling Stump Buster.
